AeroPress replacement filters (350/pack)

Introducing the AeroPress — an entirely new way to make coffee.

We're pleased to offer our customers the chance to bring home the Aeropress, which produces a richer, smoother cup of coffee than anything else on the market.

Our roastmaster is confident: At under $35, it's the best value in a small coffeemaker you'll find anywhere (and other pros agree — check out the reviews below)! If you like the full body of press pot coffee but hate the sediment, or love the taste of vac pot coffee but are tired of the clean up — or are just looking for a good cup of coffee that doesn't take all morning to make, get an AeroPress. You won't be sorry.

* About the Aeropress: AeroPress is the result of years of applied research by inventor/engineer Alan Adler, who holds about 40 US patents and is creator of the Aerobie flying ring. Adler conducted numerous brewing experiments, measuring the brew with laboratory instruments. The experiments demonstrated that proper temperature, total immersion and rapid filtering are key to flavor excellence.

* How it works: Water and grounds are mixed together for ten seconds. Then, gentle air pressure pushes the mix through a micro-filter in 20 seconds. The total brewing time of only 30 seconds results in exceptionally smooth flavor. And after you're done, cleanup is a breeze!

* The results: The smoothest, richest, purest, fastest coffee out there. Smoothest, because using the ideal water temperature and gentle air pressure brewing yields rich flavor with lower acidity and without bitterness. Richest, because total immersion brewing results in uniform extraction of the ultimate in full coffee flavor. Purest, because it's micro-filtered for grit-free coffee. And — best of all — fastest, because it's only one minute from start to enjoy!

* The science behind it: Total immersion of the grounds in the water results in rapid yet robust extraction of flavor. Total immersion also permits extraction at a moderate temperature, resulting in a smoother brew. Meanwhile, air pressure shortens filtering time to 20 seconds. This avoids the bitterness of long processes such as drip brewing. The air pressure also gently squeezes the last goodness from the grounds, further enriching the flavor. Finally, because of the lower temperature and short brew time, the acid level of the brew is much lower and more stomach-friendly than conventional brewers.

What the experts say:

"When used properly, AeroPress produces a remarkably good straight espresso and an excellent Americano-style taller cup. In fact, it produces a better espresso shot than many home machines that cost twenty or thirty times as much." - Kenneth Davids, author of "Coffee: A Guide to Buying and Brewing" and editor of coffeereview.com

"The result with hardly any tinkering: Two very, very good mugs of coffee. I was able to taste qualities that I had mainly read about before, particularly on the floral, fruity, and sweet end of the spectrum." - Jeffrey Steingarten, Vogue Food Editor

"It makes the absolute best cup of coffee I've tasted in my entire life." - Lewis Singer, Cooks Junction
